Heart stopping green.
The following image is the first time that the dress/colour graces its presence to the audience. Graces is more the afterglow, heart stopping is the first feeling. We are teased with the colour as it swallows the screen.

This green isn’t any green. I cant even describe it, its grass mixed with jealously. Emerald mixed with passion. Basically the best colour that ever graced this earth.
Legendary costume designer Jacqueline Durran (Star Wars, Vera Drake, Pride & Prejudice ) certainly deserved her Oscar nomination for this film. And also not a surprise that this dress was voted ‘Best Film Costume’ in a poll by Sky Movies and British InStyle magazine.
